Keine Frage, anfangs standen alle Zeichen auf 90. Doch Tücken im Kampfsystem und eine Steuerung mit vielen kleinen Mängeln, dazu ein vergleichsweise schwacher Schluss, da gehen nunmal wichtige Wertungspunkte verloren. Trotzdem dürfen und sollten Rollenspieler beherzt zugreifen: Ein saucooler Held, faszinierende Charaktere, viel Dramatik, beeindruckende Grafik und vor allem: Entscheidungen, die sich spürbar auf den Spielverlauf auswirken – daran muss sich die Konkurrenz in Zukunft messen! Auch wenn also längst nicht alles perfekt ist: CD Projekt legt die Genre-Messlatte für dieses Jahr schon jetzt ziemlich hoch.

The gameplay and style's going to be familiar for those that play Fallout 3, which can be a good and bad thing. Those looking for a huge improvement over Fallout 3 will be disappointed, but fans of the series will enjoy going back into the world again with a huge amount of space to explore. Combat outside of VATS still isn't fun for me, but the gameplay and user interface improvements are nicely done. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs can bring the game to a halt.
