Just Cause 2: Windows XP-Nutzer bleiben außen vor

Just Cause 2 (4) Einen knappen Monat vor Release der Fun-Ballerei Just Cause 2 hat Publisher Eidos die PC-Systemanforderungen bekannt gegeben. So weit nicht außergewöhnlich. Eine Besonderheit innerhalb der Aufstellung lässt dann aber doch aufhorchen: Demnach setzt Just Cause 2 zwingend DirectX 10 voraus. Anders gesagt bedeutet das, dass Spieler die noch auf Windows XP und DirectX 9 setzen, außen vor bleiben. Fraglich, ob sich Eidos respektive Entwickler Avalanche mit dieser Entscheidung nicht ins eigene Fleisch schneidet, indem ein Großteil der potentiellen PC-Kundschaft von vornherein vom Kauf ausgeschlossen wird.
